SPOTLIGHT ON ARNETTA COOK

ARNETTA (COOKIE) COOK
Arnetta graduated from Sumner High School in 1965 and holds a degree in Business Education from Western Kentucky Community Technical College. She began her professional career in the Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C.

During Ms. Cook's professional career she has also enjoyed a lucrative modeling career; she has also been a Stand-up Comic with an improv group in the D.C. area. Ametta is a talented public speaker and serves as a women's business advocate for the National Capital region. While she has lived in Washington since 1967 she has traveled extensively in many foreign countries.

Ms. Cook is currently a Business Specialist providing counseling for small businesses that have an interest in government procurement. She has 40 years of uninterrupted federal service and will retire in 2006.
